Harrison Ashby is an undergraduate student studying Environmental Studies at UCSB.  She has been working on the Prison Environmental Justice Project since April of 2018.  Her interests include environmental justice, climate justice, labor rights, and political and ethical philosophy.  She spends weekends doing animal liberation outreach with Liberation Santa Barbara.  Harrison also volunteers with with Food Not Bombs, making food predominately for houseless people in Isla Vista.  In her spare time, she likes to read, go to the beach, and take pictures of birds.  She hopes to pursue a career that will allow her to work on projects related to animal liberation or climate justice.
